Friends,

I want to thank you for supporting my candidacy yesterday. Because of your hard work, dedication and great energy, we were successful! This has been an incredible journey. I feel very fortunate to have gained the support of so many people. Meeting new friends on the campaign trail has made this experience even more special. Public service and politics appeal to me because it is about helping others. Your help allows me to fulfill my passion.

As I mentioned during the campaign, the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District is a critical government agency that ensures the safety of our water. I look forward to working on mitigating the flooding we have experienced over the recent years by implementing new solutions to these existing problems. I also think we need to view our water as a liquid asset and work to preserve our water supply for generations to come.

I am very proud to be one of the three Democrats nominated for Commissioner of the Water Reclamation District and I look forward to the General Election on November 6, 2012. With your continued help and support, we will be successful.
